July, 2010 — Aug, 2010

Lead 3D Animator - Worlds Away Productions, NYC

Lead animator for “Lexus CT-Hybrid” - a 60 second commercial spot featuring the Lexus Hybrid vehicle. The spot utilized Alioscopic technology utilizing 8 virtual cameras to create 33 stereoscopic imagery without the need for 3d glasses. Special monitors were purchased by Lexus and the spot was broadcast at all trade shows as well as every Lexus showroom across the United States. My roll in this project was not only to oversee other animators in the production pipeline but to also model, texture and animate objects and cameras in multiple scenes. Finally, I was responsible for the rendering of all scenes and checking for bad frames as well as compositing the shots and adding color correction and any final effects ensuring standards and deadlines were met.

April, 2010 — June, 2010

Lead 3D Animator - Worlds Away Productions, NYC

Lead animator for “Megacities - Kaohsiung” - a one hour episode featuring the Taiwan city of Kaohsiung. The show features seamless transitions from live action to 3d replicas of the city, its port, subways and other points of interest.  My responsibilities included modeling, lighting and shading the entire existing port while animating a reveal of the proposed new extended port, and I also modeled all of the bridges and many of the iconic buildings throughout the city. I also created the entire camera animation for the port scene as well as the much of the subway scene. Finally, I was responsible for the rendering of all scenes and checking for bad frames as well as compositing the shots and adding color correction and any final effects ensuring standards and deadlines were met.
