·      Yugioh Vrains TV show: Do 3d & 2d rotoscoping in every episode to make each espisode broadcast safe for American broadcast.

TD/Senior freelance 3D Animator – 4Kids Productions, NYC

Senior 3d Animator, and team leader of 3d animators to create multiple shows for Saturday morning children’s television airing on FOX and CW11. Some of these shows are now in syndication and airing on the CARTOON NETWORK as well.

Shows and my role in them included:

·       Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: 3d Modeler and Animator of vehicles and weapons to be integrated with 2d characters and environments.

·       Viva Piņata: (two seasons): Technical Director overseeing an outsourced production team of all animations.  Also, altered animations due to changes in scripts and broadcast standards concerns’.

·      Yugioh Zexal: 3d and 2d card and assorted element replacements of shows previously produced outside of the US and re-scripted for the American marketplace.

·       Dragonball Z: Roto cleanup

·       Dinosaur King:3d animation character fixes.

In addition, I’ve also created, on a weekly basis, multiple promotional and sweepstakes spots compelling viewers to watch the shows, as well as the 4kids website, which I have created 3d content for on a regular basis. Additionally, I've created multiple poses of 3d characters for Dinosaur King trading cards and continue to do so on a freelance basis.

I've also just delivered 3d interactive content for a Dinosaur King iBook to be the first of multiple ebooks released in the summer of 2012

 

July, 2010 — Aug, 2010

Lead 3D Animator - Worlds Away Productions, NYC

Lead animator for “Lexus CT-Hybrid” - a 60 second commercial spot featuring the Lexus Hybrid vehicle. The spot utilized Alioscopic technology utilizing 8 virtual cameras to create 33 stereoscopic imagery without the need for 3d glasses. Special monitors were purchased by Lexus and the spot was broadcast at all trade shows as well as every Lexus showroom across the United States. My roll in this project was not only to oversee other animators in the production pipeline but to also model, texture and animate objects and cameras in multiple scenes. Finally, I was responsible for the rendering of all scenes and checking for bad frames as well as compositing the shots and adding color correction and any final effects ensuring standards and deadlines were met. 

April, 2010 — June, 2010

Lead 3D Animator - Worlds Away Productions, NYC

Lead animator for “Megacities - Kaohsiung” - a one hour episode featuring the Taiwan city of Kaohsiung. The show features seamless transitions from live action to 3d replicas of the city, its port, subways and other points of interest.  My responsibilities included modeling, lighting and shading the entire existing port while animating a reveal of the proposed new extended port, and I also modeled all of the bridges and many of the iconic buildings throughout the city. I also created the entire camera animation for the port scene as well as the much of the subway scene. Finally, I was responsible for the rendering of all scenes and checking for bad frames as well as compositing the shots and adding color correction and any final effects ensuring standards and deadlines were met.

Lead 3D Animator - Worlds Away Productions & Barking Dog Productions, NYC

Lead animator for “Saturday Night Live in the 2000s Anthology.” A two hour special highlighting the last 10 years of SNL containing a five minute 3d animated intro along with animated transitional segments segueing from clips to interviews. My responsibilities included modeling, lighting and animation as well as overseeing the work of junior animators and ensuring standards and deadlines were met. Air date was April 15th, 2010 on NBC.

Interests:

Aside from always trying to improve my visual FX skills, I am an avid guitarist performing with multiple bands as a fill-in musician in clubs and a variety of other functions. I also own a semi-professional recording studio where I enjoy recording my own works as well as recordings for clients and musical pieces for video clips.
